Vent.....

I'm just unsure of what to do...Madalynn has been diagnosed with ADHD. Hyperactive part and the defiance part....Man its only taken 8 years to finally get this! Anyhow its been a LONG road. The medication she was put on is making her more violent and its effecting the whole family. I was told that once a ADHD child realized they have ADHD they use every means possible to get away with everything.....She goes back to the Dr. this week, but being more violent isn't a side effect.
Tonight for example, she was sent to her room for misbehaving and went up and tore a hole in her screen, threw stuff out the window, totally tore her room apart, put a hole in the wall, and ripped her bed....I went up there to try and calm her down, and she was hitting me and throwing stuff at me....man, I just don't know what to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just want to run away! Not even deal with anything because Madalynn takes all my attention and energy. I feel like the worst parent in the world!

Baptism

Kennedy was baptized this past Sunday. The service was nice. I really liked the way the pastor involved the kids in the baptism. He was so good about explaining what we were doing and why we were there, and all about the water, he explained that each time a rain drop falls on the children its kind of like God blessing them!!! Thought that was neat. Anyhow...we had a brunch after and yummy yummy food! Thanks mom for bringing the egg bakes! Thanks everyone else for all the food you brought!

Here are some pictures!

Oh you would think that you worry about the baby not crying for baptism, well Kennedy was fine, it was Corrin and Courtney who were pain's in the butt!! Corrin laid on the pew in front of church with her dress up showing everyone her undies and she just laid there pouting!!! Courtney tried to run up on the stage....Oh man....kids!!!

Easter

Well I do have to say that Easter went well this year. Bummer we didn't travel up North, but I think that with 5 kids in the car I would have pulled my hair out....especially only after 6 weeks. Plus money is just a little to tight. Ended up spending Easter with mom and it was nice....relaxing day. The kids found Easter eggs and got prizes for them, and everyone held Kennedy (giving me a break) the food was yummy as always....it was nice.

The kids enjoyed their baskets, and today after school Corrin and Courtney took the bubbles the got and were outside playing with them...it was cute. Corrin kept dumping her little pan of bubbles out though.

On another note....today was my first day back to work. I was really excited about it, but I'm so tired tonight. Kennedy went to daycare, that was kind of hard, I thought about her all day. She did fine. I knew she would but it was still hard to leave her. She has slept through the night 2 nights in a row now. I hope she keeps it up!!!

On that note, I should get off here and get her ready for bed! Night.

The kids

Its a Start!!

Well, I'm going to try and start a blog...that way you all can kind of keep up to date with our family, even if I'm not daily on this I will try my best to post new pictures and let you know any funny little stories that happen in our life that I feel can be shared with all of you!!!

As you should know our family is made up of:
Dad: Aaron-Truck driver
Mom: Jenny-Teachers Assistant, college student, mom
Daughter: Hope- May 10th birthday will be 10 years old finishing up the 4th grade
Daughter: Madalynn-Jan. 11th birthday, is 8 years old, finishing up the 2nd grade
Daughter: Corrin-Aug. 17th birthday, is 3 years old, finishing up her first year of preschool
Daughter: Courtney-Jan. 17th birthday, is 2 years old
Daughter: Kennedy-Feb. 27th birthday, is 6 weeks old

So there ya go....As for tonight, Corrin and Courntey are in the living room making as much noise as possible while Aaron holds Kennedy (who is sleeping, or I should say cat napping) watching tv. or at least trying to.
I think Hope is on the phone, and Maddie is in her own little world watching tv in the basement.
I'm hiding in the office, door shut, listening to Aaron yell at the little two to be quiet, I find it interesting that after being gone all week he can't shut the tv off and play with them....huh?!!! He wonders why they are loud, looking for attention maybe?? Think I will go give them a bath.
